Our task force members have a broad array of professional backgrounds
and experiences. Our ranks include parents whose children have been
victims of distracted driving, pediatricians and emergency physicians,
crash-injury investigators and public health experts, bike and
pedestrian commuters, executives from insurance companies and driving
schools, social marketing gurus and communications professionals,
lawyers and civic leaders. Our common denominator is that we are
frightened and appalled by what we're seeing on the roads every day and
we are committed to making a difference. None of us is paid for our
work on this task force. We are all volunteers.
